On the seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me......
Well day 7 is sort of a blur! I got a haircut...she took about 2 inches off and shaped it up. Looks so much better! May keep it on the shorter side for a while. My nieces came over later that afternoon and just hung out! Then I had church choir practice for our Christmas Cantata. After that was over our friends Will and Alicia came over to eat homemade pizza and hang out. Us girls always get each other a little ornament and they guys usually get each other a bottle of liquor. Dave got the boys something different this year though. He ordered Will and Brian personalized road signs. Will's has a farmer on a tractor for a tractor crossing sign and Brian's is a little Notre Dame Leprechaun. Haven't given Brian his yet but Will love his so there is no doubt Brian will feel the same way. So that was day 7 in a nutshell!
8th day of Christmas.....had church cantata! At last after all the rehearsing it was performance day. And it went much better than I expected! The only miss-hap happened after it was over and a member of the choir passed out! But she is OK. After church we went to eat at my parents as we usually do on Sunday. We had to make a trip to Dyersburg late Sunday. Dave's great Uncle Otis passed away. He had been suffering with lung cancer and it had spread to the brain. Over Thanksgiving he had a stroke and just didn't recover fully after. So we visited with the family and headed back home. I met my bestie for a girls Mexican dinner! We use to do it almost every Sunday night, but with the birth of her little boy and just being so busy we haven't been able to get a dinner date in a while now. So it was great to just hang out and talk!
So nothing exciting to blog about today! Have a great day!
Candace
