If you are reading this I know you are thinking it sure has taken them a while to post something new. You are right about that! Lots has happened since our last post so lets just dive in head first!
Lets start with September 2008:
Dave gets a call from his college pal and fellow engineer Paul. There was an opening at his firm and he thought Dave would be interested. That was an answered prayer. Dave interviewed and took the job in Jackson, TN. We were going home! WooHooo!!!!!
October 2008:
Well the boxes were packed and the notices given. It was official we were Tennessee bound. First we made a well needed vacation to Gulf Shores for 10 days. Dave's step mom had rented a beach house that slept 22. So we packed our travling stuff and hit the road with some of our BFF's. David and Lisa Springer, Chad Robinson, Alicia and Ashley and my Parents. We had a great time. The weather was perfect and the sun was warm! An amazing way to celebrate our homecoming.
November 2008:
Back HOME! And happy to be there! We moved in with my parents until our house sold. And that happened a lot faster than we ever expected it too! 3 weeks and two days after listing it we sold our first home. It was official that we were back in Tenneessee. Dave was working and Candace just getting settled.
December 2008:
Still living with the parents and it appears that it will be that way for some time. We are going to renovate Candace's grandfather's house. We had a great Christmas back in Tennessee.
January 2009:
We are officially TN residents. Got our new license and car tags to prove it. Dave turned 27 on the 6th. Candace and her mother made a trip to Minnesota for her Uncle's funeral. It was cold cold cold there. The coldest week of the year but they survived.
Today is February 1st. Bella and Rambler are still doing great and keep us busy. We are lucky to have great friends and family support as we figure out whats next. Keep checking back and we will update with pictures of us and our new home.
