Summertime

Well hello everyone!!! It has been too long since I have posted something new! So lets just jump into it!!!!

My best friends Ashley and Alicia finally made a trip to see us. It was a blast. We did some shoppng and had lots of fun eating out....it was a well needed girls weeked! Also one of David's guy friends from high school has been interning at Wal-Mart in the legal department, so we have been catching up with him. He even went to TN with us. We made a visit to Tennessee for a good friends (Kate) Wedding last month. It was a beautiful day and I know she is so happy!! We had a nice visit, although it went by too fast!

My parents made a trip up for July 4th weekend and brought my 10 year old niece Susan! It was a nice visit. Although Susan drove the dogs crazy chasing and aggrevating them, it was a fun weekend. We got to watch a great firworks show at the Pinnacle Hills Country Club. We made a trip to Tulsa to the Zoo while they were here too. It was very hot, but Susan had a blast!

We have been busy working at the house as well. The garden is large and the cantelope has taken over! We have gotten a few ears of corn and have lots of tomotoes getting ripe. We actually have 2 cantlopes growing too! The house still is a work in progress. Dave has decided to make the two ponds connect and have a waterfall.....like I said this is a work in progress! No new paint has made it on the walls, guess I will have to wait until the fall for that!

We will be making a trip home in a few weeks for a short tirp and will be home again for Labor Day. Summer has flown by and we have stayed very busy! We are making friends and enjoying all the visitors! Hope everyone is well! God bless you all!!!!!!
